Angel in the square: Review
By Christina

Angel in the Square is a heartwarming story about a girl named Katya, who lives in Russia. Her mother is a countess, and she lives a life of luxury in a mansion. But when the war against Germany comes, everything changes. Katya's mother becomes the Empress's lady in waiting, and as she meets new friends, things suddenly take a turn, and Katya finds herself locked up in the palace, surrounded by thousands of peasants, calling for the Tsar to resign. Then her cousin, Misha, gets taken to join the war. Will Katya be able to help her friends and the Imperial family as well as her own? will the angel in the square stand if Russia falls to Germany?
I liked this book. It had plenty of detail and plot twists, but not enough to keep the reader interested. I give this book an 8/10.
